We’re delighted to welcome you to the 13th Annual Special Kids Race on Saturday, March 9, 2024, where every step is #forthekids.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, a leisurely walker, or a family eager to participate together, this community event welcomes everyone.  The course starts at the Murfreesboro Medical Center, leading you through a flat route featuring the historic Stones River Battlefield.  Along with the race, there will be a family fun zone, refreshments, and an assortment of activities for all.

No matter how you get involved – as a runner, walker, donor, or volunteer – your contribution directly impacts the lives of the children and families served at Special Kids.  Let’s make a difference together.

All participants must maintain a minimum 15-minute-per-mile pace for race distances of 15K, 10K and 5K.
See below for finish time cut offs for each race distance based on a 15-minute-per-mile pace.
15K – 2hrs 19min 45sec
10K – 1hr 33min 12sec
5K – 46min 36sec
All roads will re-open no later than 9:30am.
